41-year-old Black was responsible for two FSV negative records within a week. On the highest league defeat of the Rheinhessen last matchday at RB Leipzig (0: 8) was followed on Saturday against promoted Union Berlin eighth season defeat (2: 3). So many bankruptcies on the first eleven matchdays never set for the Rheinhessen. The FSV is third last and has the worst goal difference (12:30).
The former FSV professional Black joined his job at the Mainz, who must compete after the international break at TSG Hoffenheim, on July 1, 2017 as the successor to Martin Schmidt. The coach's contract originally ran until June 2022.
