In Tyrol, the first avalanche occurred in the winter season. Two people were spilled and could only be recovered dead.

On Saturday there was an avalanche in SOlden at noon. According to police, this should have happened off the piste. According to initial information, two people are said to have been spilled, which is why the mountain rescue was used. With three helicopters and 15 men one was traveling in the glacier area.After a few hours you actually found two people. However, any help came too late: the victims could only be recovered dead.

Since the winter season has not yet officially started, a daily avalanche warning service was not set up yet. However, on a blog of the authority already on Friday was pointed out that an "increased probability of avalanche accidents" exist. Reason for the warning were some snowstorms on the days before and the subsequent weather improvement.
