The 700 chairs do not stack by ten! The Administrative Court of Nantes has condemned the company specialized in the development of collective places.
The municipality of Saint-Leger-sous-Cholet had sued, in February 2018, for a dispute with the company Mobidecor, concerning the acquisition of furniture made in 2016. 700 chairs intended to equip the village hall of the Prairie. The problem with the delivery: "They do not pile up by ten. "
The municipality has just obtained compensation. It recalls the reasons which motivated its choice and communicates the conclusions of the Administrative Court of Nantes: "The town of Saint-Leger-sous-Cholet has awarded a public contract to supply 700 chairs to equip the village hall, for a total of € 46,532. The chairs were delivered in March 2016. Believing that they could not be stacked and transported by ten without damage, the municipality brought an action before the administrative court of Nantes, having tried, in vain, to find an amicable solution. The court rendered its judgment on October 24th. It rejected the resolution of the contract of sale, but, it condemned the company Mobidecor to 15 000 € on its contractual responsibility and 1 500 € for the expenses of lawyer ", for the benefit of the municipality.
