It was Bielsa who had a few words for those present to thank the work of all who have directed this important area of the town. "Mislata has changed a lot in these 30 years, and especially for the elderly. Today in our city policies were being carried out that seek their well-being and so that they can enjoy their retirement with greater comfort. This space of La Fabrica is the obvious example that Mislata thinks and acts for her elders. "
The Mayor of Mislata also had words of thanks to Pepe Camarasa, president of the El Fabrica seniors' space, who made an exhibition where he reviewed year by year the trajectory and changes that have taken place in the space. During their intervention, they were there, they could enjoy the music of the Mislata Musical Instruction Center, which enlivened the day with several musical pieces.
On the other hand, that same week, as every year, neighborhood associations and groups of older people in Mislata, attended a protocol ceremony to renew their agreements with the City Council. Representatives of the associative fabric met with Mayor Bielsa and Councilwoman Lujan to sign the agreements.
The municipality of Mislata has a beneficiary policy for the elderly with which it provides municipal economic assistance, specified in the agreements, to cover the necessary arrangements and reforms of the different spaces for the elderly, as well as to subsidize the numerous social activities which take place throughout the year. During these years, it has been revealed that the needs of the elderly are a priority for the current government.
