Canadians have announced Michael McNiven was sent to Icemen of Jacksonville, the Winnipeg Jets Club School in ECHL.

The 22-year-old has maintained a 1.75 goals-against average and .941 save percentage in four games with the Adirondack Thunder in ECHL.

Joel Bouchard said last Monday that the organization was looking for a solution so that McNiven can play more often.

Last season, Michael McNiven played with the Laval Rocket, the Hockey League's hockey club in the American Hockey League for 30 games. He also played a game with Brampton Beast in ECHL.

The Rocket currently relies on Cayden Primeau and Charlie Lindgren as goalkeepers this year.
