Tyson Fury, open to combat with Stipe Miocic

The day after UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic said he was interested in a boxing match with Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, the 'Gypsy King' said he would accept it.

"Stipe says he wants to lock me up, that would be a good fight," Fury said through the management company MTK Global on Tuesday. "After getting (Deontay) Wilder out of the way, I will fight Stipe in a boxing match if he wishes. It would be a great cross fight like (Floyd) Mayweather and (Conor) McGregor. I'm open to that fight, so I should come to see me. It would be the same result for any of them. Everyone will be crushed. "

In August 2017, the star of UFCMcGregor moved to boxing for a fight and confronted Mayweather. The massively publicized fight was the second highest-grossing event in the history of combat sports: about $ 600 million in revenue and 4.3 million PPV, only behind Mayweather's decision to face Manny Pacquiao to unify world welterweight titles.

On Monday, Miocic said on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show that he was much more interested in seeking a boxing match with Fury than a third fight with the UFC rival, Daniel Cormier, with whom he has divided two fights. More recently, Miocic scored a fourth-round knockout victory over Cormier in his rematch to regain the title at the main event of UFC 241 on August 17 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

"I heard that Tyson Fury is looking for the fight now," Miocic said. "I like a new challenge. I would love to box it. He's a great fighter. He's a good guy, and I think we'd make a good show."

Before a possible Fury-Miocic can happen, Fury is bound by contract to face the world champion, Wilder. They fought for a split tie last December and have an agreement for two more fights between them. The first one is scheduled for February 22 in a joint payment by ESPN / Fox Sports, provided that Wilder retains his title in a rematch with the main contender Luis 'King Kong' Ortiz on November 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

While Fury is committed to the upcoming boxing matches, he has spent the last months acting at WWE, and MTK Global also released a video of him training at MMA with the stable MTK partner and the UFC fighter Darren Till.

"It was an exciting training with Darren Till and we got along like a burning house," said Fury. "It made me have a hard training session and it was really good."
