The Osbournes are asked "every three months" to shoot new episodes of their reality show.
As Kelly Osbourne reveals, there is tremendous demand for a comeback of the series in which Father Ozzy, Mother Sharon and the children Kelly and Jack gave an intimate glimpse into their lives. "I'm not kidding, every year we get a different offer every three months or so and we keep saying no," reveals the 35-year-old. "It keeps coming up." Although the family has always refused, this could change soon. "There's another offer on the table right now, and I think we've never been so inclined to accept it, but I do not know if that's going to happen," Kelly explains.
The Osbournes, however, would not want to rush things. "There are people we have to think about, my brother has three children," says the musician. "Do we want this life for them without being old enough to choose, whether they want it or not?" Kelly herself was only 15 when the show first aired on MTV. Although the series ran only from 2002 to 2005, the reactions of the audience were gigantic. "The first season was a totally magical time in my family's life, because we had no idea what we were doing," the Briton tells People.com. "We had no idea that the show would be so successful." The life of the teenager was then turned upside down. "One day, you'll suddenly wake up and be proverbially one of the most famous 16-year-olds in the world, just by being you, and I think you will never see a family on TV more vulnerable," says Kelly. In the end, however, the stars themselves were overwhelmed. "Suddenly it was like an explosion of too much reality for us," she confesses.
