German trend: SPD overtakes the AfD – GroKo without majority


DAccording to a poll, the SPD has gained slightly in the electorate and is again just ahead of the AfD. If on Sunday would be federal election, the SPD would come to 15 and the AfD to 14 percent, as emerged on Thursday from the "DeutschlandTrend in the ARD morning magazine".

The Social Democrats improved by one percentage point compared to the previous week, the approval for the AfD remained the same. CDU and CSU lost one percentage point, but at 25 percent would still be the strongest force. With 40 percent, however, the coalition government of the Union and the SPD would currently have no majority.
