The annual general meeting of FC Bayern Munchen was especially the farewell to Bayern boss Uli Hoeneb. But aside from the tearful farewell Hansi Flick (54) was allowed to cheer. The interim coach of the ailing German record champion remains until at least Christmas on the sidelines of the FCB. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge announced under applause: "We trust Hansi Flick."

The trainer search is thus postponed at least until the second half. Flick "has a very good relationship with the players, and we also like his sympathetic appearance," Rummenigge explained his decision. In addition, the CEO of FC Bayern Munich praised the training work and the tactical understanding of the 54-year-olds.
Its predecessor Niko Kovac had to take the hat off after a 1-5 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt. Flick took over, struggling with a 2: 1 against Olympiacos Piraeus for the first victory and led with a 4-0 win against arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund the turn. Rummenigge was impressed: "He has done well and has our confidence."

This confidence must now justify Flick until Christmas, "maybe beyond", as Rummenigge plausibly put it. On Saturday (23.11.2019, 15.30 clock) meets Flicks team on Fortuna Dusseldorf. Flicks first station to pay back the bosses' trust with points. (Jpg)
