Before final round: Wiesberger improves in South Africa in 6th place

Golf pro Bernd Wiesberger improved by three more positions to sixth place in the penultimate European Tour tournament in South African Sun City before the final day.

The tour leader played on Saturday a 70s round of two under par. Overall, he holds out at six, on the leading South African Zander Lombard (RSA) missing five punches.


Local hero Lombard takes a streak ahead of compatriot Louis Oosthuizen and Thomas Detry (BEL) in the final round of the $ 7.5 million tournament. Before Wiesberger, who shares sixth with five other players, Oliver Wilson (ENG) and Marcus Kinhult (SWE) are also eight under par.
