This Friday, a couple of yellow vests appeared at the Palais de Justice in Paris
. They are accused of stealing four forks, a salt shaker and a stool, after the Champs-Elysees Le Fouquet's restaurant was set on fire on March 16th. The decision will be made on December 4, at 1:30 pm.
The 30-year-old caregiver and the 43-year-old SNCF employee, who protested in March last to denounce the difficulties of their daily lives, dispute the charges against them. They say that the warden had told them to help themselves because the brewery was going to get rid of the equipment and utensils.
This Friday afternoon, the Fouquet's lawyer asked for a symbolic euro "for the principle". The prosecutor of the Republic required four months of suspended sentence and 70 hours of community service.
