Cycling world comes together to commemorate 'Poupou'

On Tuesday morning the cycling world brought a salute to the deceased Raymond Poulidor for the very last time. The French cycling legend died last week at the age of 83.

Tuesday morning there was the funeral of Raymond Poulidor. As expected, a lot of big names came up, such as Bernard Hinault, Bernard Thevenet, Lucien Aimar, Andre Darrigade. Christian Prudhomme, Marc Madiot and Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle were also present. David Lappartient, UCI chairman, also showed up.

Poulidor was buried in his home village of Saint-Leonard-de-Noblat.
