Regis Hebette makes the words of Malcolm X sing

Guillaume Ison photo

Exceptional speaker and preacher of the black muslims of "Nation of Islam" until the early 1960s, Malcolm X began during the last months of his life a shift towards more political positions that internationalize the struggle of black Americans and connects to those of colonized peoples in search of independence and liberation.

In the company of the 12 musicians and 20 singers of the Rhizomes orchestra and choir, 7 young carry the uncompromising word of this mythical and controversial figure of the black liberation and the universal struggle – always to lead – for equal freedom among all humans.
