Jeffrey Epstein: Charge Against Pedophile Billionaire Prison Guard – News International

The two jailers, who should watch out for the pedophile US multimillionaire in Jeffrey Epstein's (✝︎66) death night, face trial. Tuesday they were charged.

Toval Noel (31) and Michael Thomas (41) are accused of not paying close attention to the prominent detainee. They were said to have skipped regularly scheduled checks, so Epstein had the opportunity to strangle himself in the New York federal prison with a sheet.

The businessman had been found lifeless in his cell on the morning of August 10th. Even though it was suicidal according to the official autopsy report, conspiracy theories immediately came up. For Epstein was classified as suicidal already weeks before his death and placed in the high-security wing of the prison under special observation.

Since then, the US Department of Justice has been investigating whether the guarding of Inmate 76318-054 has been the cause of the attack. Actually, the guards should have seen Epstein every half hour. According to the New York Times, they are said to have slept for hours during their shift.
Afterwards, they would have faked the service logs to cover up their own failures.

The union of judicial staff considers the guards as scapegoats:

Noel and Thomas were forced to work overtime on an irresponsible scale due to gross staff shortages: one was given a 16-hour double shift, the other had worked several times that week.

Epstein was in custody for sexually abusing dozens of minors. According to the indictment, he built between 2002 and 2005 in New York and Florida on an illegal sex trade ring. In prison, he waited for the trial. He was threatened with up to 45 years in prison.

Brisant: The multimillionaire maintained good contacts with numerous politicians and celebrities, including US President Donald Trump and British Prince Andrew.
